So I've had two jags for awhile now (male/female) and I decided to put them together......of course they started doing their displays and locking jaws. My question is how long should I let this go on before I separate? They aren't causing any damage yet, I'm just concerned.

When did you put them together and what size? All cichlids need to establish an order among them. If it hasen't been very long I would ride it out for a few days and keep an eye out for injuries.
