35hours? They will probably run out of oxygen by then. If you change the water in the bags you run the risk of giving the fish chlorine shock and killing them. I would recommend against it.

go buy a bucket some prime and an air pump...put them in the bucket do regular water changes.

agreed i usually get an air pump and bucket or preferably even a small cooler which keep temps more stable than a bucket

Agreed with above, over here a lot of fish are sold in bags with some oxygen pumped in...

And most stores agree you can keep them in there for up to 24hrs, after that it becomes a real gamble if they will survive...

I did something similar this past summer. I bought my PTC and transported it a couple states and two days. I put him in a huge trash bag inside of one of those throwaway styrofoam coolers. It did a real good job of keeping the water from spilling. I kept the fish alive with a battery powered air pump. I put the stone in the trash bag with the BPAP outside of the bag but still in the cooler. I tied the bag around the hose but not so tight as to cut off air flow. It worked great and the fish made it back alive and with minimal stress.

Hey I don't know much about shipping....but dont fish being shipped are in the bags bewtween 24-48 hours?

Thiers also new bags that are apparently "breathable"

Good Luck but like mention bucket, battery powered air pump and prime and you will be set...a therometer too

^ gotta keep in mind when an MFK member sends fish they also probably starve them a little so they dont produce as much waste and add in clean water...

Where as from a store, the fish may still be quite full and water quality in the tanks questionable to start with :)
