I've had my pbass for only 2 days now and they have not even attempted eating the food (hikari freeze-dried krill and food sticks). I know there are difficulties with converting immediately as i am doing because I refuse to let my aros eat live food (tankmates). How long do you think the pbass can starve without hurting them? If they REALLY need i'll get a few minnows...

Frozen blood worms... But they can last awhile at an older age. When they are juvies I would not try to push too long. I know some people that wait three days tops. I have heard of people doing two weeks but if they are juvies its not worth the risk.

IF it wont take anything else in a day or two ull have to feed it minnows/guppies to keep it alive/fatten it up. Once its fattened up then u can start converting. How big is it though u never disclosed tat? Tats important to how long it can live w/o food.

do you have another tank for em? Get em eating...cant starve em at that size...temp should also be 87-90 at that size to keep ich astray.

I would feed em a mix bloodworms and brineshrimp(frozen). As they get used to that start adding crushed pellet into the mix.

Started my pbass on night crawlers and market shrimp.
They will take the worms and then the shrimp.
Just requires patience.
