How long can the fry stay with the parents ?

Hi all,

My Channa Gachua are doing well and the small ones are growing fast. Just ordered today a new 75 Gallons tank
I was just wondering how long can the fry stay with the parents ?
Is it possible that some fry are getting eaten by the parents ? Looks like my population of fry got smaller.

Hi,

as long the parents feed and care for the fry they can stay together.
But you can remopve the fry when these eat food you givé them, and have a size of three to four cm.

The number of fry decreases cazuse some of the bigger young recognize that brothers and sisters are tasty food ;-)
