How long can they last? Power out on my block.

My wife justed called me here at work and let me know that the power on our block is off. So now all four of my tanks are down with any electricity and the city was no update on the fix? How long will it be before fish start to go belly up?

I have lasted 24+ hours mutiple times by adding buckets of tank temp water and putting the filter media in the tank but that with my RD and he is pretty hearty.

easily more then 24, if they all gather near the surface means oxygen is low so just move the water surface or change a bit of water

If they look like they're gasping for oxygen you can add a battery powered air pump, they can be found in the fishing section of walmart to be used to aerate live bait.
