Last in a 29 gallon?I am moving, and can only take two of my tanks(75 and 29).My 29 was originally SW,and I am taking some of my FW fish that were already too large for my 29 and whose home is already the 75.I will be getting a 300 when I'm done moving.I will be moving by wednesday.

Wha size is the shark now? If it's a small pup, a couple months or so. Biggest issue will not be size, but water Q. 29 gallons is not a lot to offset the bioload of a growing shark.

It is only about 4-5 inches. How many times do you reckon I be doing water changes a week?I would normally do 3-4,but do you think I should do more?

Naturally it also depends on the tank's dimensions - for example is a 29 gallon Nano Cube or a standard 29 gallon tank. Either way you will likely fine until it reachs about 9-10 inches long - which means about 4 months from current size.

But as Matt already pointed out - Water Quality needs to be perfect. And a great filtration system is key to that - in addition to regular water changes. Personally if I were to build 29 gallon "shark" tank - I would go with a filtration system that would normally used on a tank that is at least 90-120 gallons.

Definitely it would be better to go "overkill" in the filtration department. And maybe still changing about 50% of water per week would also be good.
