:confused:How long could a clown knife stay in a 125 gallon? Would it be ok in a 180 for its entire life? Can it be kept with cichlids? Other knifes?

Could it be with a BGK and a brown knife?

I would say around a 300 gallon would be best. These guys can supposedly get around 3 feet and they are really active at night. As far as tankmates, it really depends on the individual fish. Mine hangs out with my pleco and jack dempsy all the time, but ate my black ghost knife and bit one of my oscars.

Thanks for the info.
Chris

Even though they can get 3', they more likely will be 18"-24" in captivity. A 180g would be ok...personally, I think a 240g would be better, and as always...bigger is always better. CKs and BGKs could work. Really depends on the individual fish. ABKs are a smaller species and wouldn't do well long term.
