I put my giant Rosequeen in a garbage bin with a lid held down by a small brick. Went up stair to catch an episode of Seinfeld and Two and a half men. That's about an hour total. Came down stair and found him on the ground all dried up and not moving. I quickly administered CPR ...JK ..i put him back in the tank and the lucky bastard seem fine. I estimated he must've been on the garage floor over half an hour base on how dried up he was..maybe longer. Anyways the guy is tough as nail and one mofo too..Bit me the other day and cause a big gaping wound which of course drew blood. So how many of you found your fish on the ground and it didn't go to fish heaven :grinno:

When I kept hatchets I'd always find them stuck to the wall.

That's more of a FAIL story though.

hahaha!

I had a well secured lid too. The only openings were for the filters.

If you look at the fish though they have wings instead of fins. They catch insects & stuff by jumping out of water. You hear splashes all day in my house & think nothing of it.
Until you go to feed the hatchets & they're wall ornaments all the sudden...

I remember hearing 3 consecutive splashes one day. It would seem they committed ritual suicide one after another trying to figure out where the last one went.
