I just picked up a teacup retic and a 75 to grow it out. Its about 5" disk size and around 8" with tail. I'm building a indoor pond for it once its of a good size. How long can it stay in the 75 till it needs to be moved.

Btw its a male. Not sure if its helps but figured it be good to keep in mind

Nice, iv been looking for a retic forever now, any pics? As far as I know retics stay under 12" disk diameter (I could be wrong), if that's true, you could keep him in the 75 for at least 6 months depending on the dimensions of your tank.

Mine have been in for six months now and still have a lot of room to grow up more. My male is about a 7" and my female is 6" (disc diameter). I also added to mm's in with them that both have about a 5" disc. I would say close to a year till they need an upgrade. I am starting to build a 10'x6'x3' pond for mine here within the week. I wish you luck with them as they seem to be extremely finicky and can easily die. Also get it off black worms or blood worms as soon as you can and onto pellets or prepared foods. It took me 5 weeks to do but it's well worth it once it is done!

I wish I could build a pond like that but I dont have room like that so I was thinking something like 5'x3'. I'm still doing research cause I got a young son and don't want him trying to climb in there or throw stuff in there.

Ya I'm super excited! I want so many more rays it's a really bad addiction that Is only getting worse hahaha. Here is my pair, the darker is the male and the light the female.
