I am sure most of you monster breeders feed your fish foods food with theses little guys but does anyone know how long do the worms survive in fresh water? I am feeding them and see there still wiggling around hours after. If I slightly over feed does that leave my fry a steady food supply for say half a day 5-6 hours?

I think they could last 5-6 hours. Possibly longer, but they probably die off quickly at that point. I usually feed my fry microworms two to three times per day, sometimes switching a feeding with baby brine shrimp.
You could also culture infusoria and have it constantly dripping into your tank throughout the day while you do a microworm feeding or two.
