How long does COTA usually take to respond?

I don't want to be that guy, but just trying to figure out cuz it's my first time ordering from him. Sent an email out last Sunday and a followup on Wednesday because I wanted to change something. Not mad and I don't question his credibility or quality or anything, just want to hear other people's inputs on the current thing.

Honestly I don't know what's up with them. I have ordered twice from them before, everything went great. I have ordered, or tried to order three times since and no replies at all. No messages of the fish is sold out or something, just no response at all. Was trying to get some all all black female Saggitae to attempt to breed with my Leucistic Saggitae Casper.

Also these attempted purchase were over about a year and half, so really boggles the mind why no replies of any kind.

He's gotten back to me promptly on a few orders over the last few months... most recent a couple weeks ago..

I will admit that to my mind and in my experience- Dan isn’t in it for the customer. I don’t know if that means he’s just a true hobbiest with love and passion or if it means he’s an out of touch small business owner. But there are Definitely easier people to buy fish from.

They're probably down in Nicaragua collecting fish or something. I will say you are not the first to inquire about cota being hard to reach. I've seen several threads regarding the same in recent years. I think they're just a small scale operation, probably very busy and minimally staffed.
