how long does it take for a leo to turn black?

From pup gray to black, how long does it take?

depends some are pretty dark right away but usuallu a few weeks

Mine still gray despite being a 6 to 7 incher(in diameter). Is it related to water quality/ PH etc?

it took till about 7" for mine to get jet black

i think it depends on the ray also mine stay gray a little while and i remember freddy used to always be jet black right away

I noticed mine change from light to dark within hrs. My female is dark today but could be lighter tomarrow. These pics were taken one day apart. Not sure if you can notice because of lighting but it's very obvious in person. She's darker today.

About 10 mins under a medium heat Grill....faster if you turn the cooker up
