How long does it take for id sharks to grow ? mine are about 4 inches at the moment. I heard they grow really quick but how quick??

Mine went from 2-3" to 6-7" within a couple of months if I remember correctly (it was a few years ago, I don't have it anymore).
I had one grow from about 2 inches to 12 inches in about a year and a half, in a 90. sold it because every time I did a water change, it would jump out and end up on the floor..
