how long for silicone to fully set

hi all,
ive finally got my plytank sealed but have heard conflicting advice on how long i should wait to fill it.
Ive used 7 tubes of normal 100% silicone to seal my 6ft by 3ft viewing window.
so what do you guys reckon?
im obviously eager to get it filled but at the same time i dont want a leak
any advice welcome

Id wait a full seven days better to be safe than sorry

thanks for the advice,
its hard to be patient, but ur probably right.
it would be a right sickener to have a leak because of this, after all the fibreglassing and such.
