How long for SR??

How how old/big does the SR have to be before he starts to show some colour? My SR is close to 10" and hes is still pailed as a ghost besides from his fin. But all my RTG that is in the same size/age range allready got some colour

all depends on genes with SR

some will never look that great which is why xback or RTG are the best type of asian aro for fast results

years? damn thats a long time. Under pinkish light does the fish look pure pink since its almost white atm. But ive seen lots of clips on youtube where SR looks just like mine at the same size. I was hoping it would start to show some colour after 10" so i can see where its going hehe hopfully its going in the right direction = stunning red aro =)

Red on the gil plate is a good start

i have a nan light on order just to show people how much they enhance the red on red aros

all is not what it seams with the red aros we see on the net

Dun judge the development base on their size. It's never accurate. Some young reds are greedy and eat more thus grow much faster. But always remember that colour come with age and not size. Some may develop faster but some may be alittle bit slower than the normal.

That's why we always say keeping red is all about patience.
