how long goldfish stay alive in a bucket?

hey just baught some gold fish as feeders just wondering how long can i keep em in a bucket? should i put my filter pump in there awhile to make it better for em? its cuz my snakeehad isnt really hungry right now thaught id save the goldfish abit longer ! any1 got idea about this ? thanks

Hi,

if you put in a mature sponge filter, or change water very often and feed less, they can stay in there for a couple of days/weeks

Okay i think my dad got a little (pump filter what ever ) somewhere maybe i should put that one in the bucket !
