How long has your DIY wet/dry been up and running?

I am sure we are all now familiar with the type of DIY filter where a set of storage drawers is placed inside of a plastic tote-type container. I was thinking about doing one of these, but i was wondering how long they last or if it is even really feasible in the long term.

It seems like I see lots of threads where someone assembles one of these, posts lots of pictures of it, but you never hear about it again...and I am wondering if it failed or not.

Who is running one of these and how long has it been up and running? What brand totes/drawers were used that were successful over time? Pictures?

yup and mines been running about 4 months now mine is just a pvc overflow going down to the top of the 3 drawer DIY first drawer floss second drawer ceramic rings and third bio balls half submerged half out ill try and get a pic

I used the drawers at wal mart 2 sets. I will have to see if I can find a name on it later.

I used some sort of clear tubs for the sumps. They are stronger then the typical ruber maid tubs which bow out with water in them. I was looking for more to do another tank and I cant find them.

I have 3 sumps. all connected with bulkheads and PVC pipe. my center tub is empty. I had plants growing in it, but stopped that. the other 2 sumps have the drawer filters in them.
