if my turtles didnt always disappear from my ponds
id have a turtle for six years or more (currently)
i hav'um for like a year, then they leave the pond

so now ive had my snapper for 1yr and 24 days (inside, no risk anymore)
and my tiger salamander for 1yr and 11 months

ya, i know its nothing lol

Two of my Eastern Box Turtles I've had for 20 and 21 years. I still have my first pair of leopard geckos that I've had for over 16 years. If you take good care of your herps they can live quite a long time.

prick the bearded dragon 7 years

I've had my pen. cooter 6 years and my yellow belly 5 (both since they were about the size of a nickel). They are my only current herps. I gave my leopard gecko pair away almost 2 years ago. I had the female since she was a baby and got the male as an adult. I had the female about 5 years when I gave her away and the male three. I just heard that the kid I gave them to passed them on to their third owner who should have them for several years to come.

Female ig 5 years, male iguana 2 years, male anole 7 years, female leo gecko 3 moths, turts ranging from almost 20 years to a few moths:D

I guess that would depend on how long I live! Never no, I could die tomorrow! :grinno:

Anyways, Box turtles can live between 40-80 years. Some reports say they can live past 100.

Snappers are said to live to around 40 years in captivity but I'm sure they can live even longer if you take good care of them.
