how long should the test fill last?

I recently resealed a 55g, and filled the tank up a few min. ago. No leaks yet, but how long should i keep the tank filled to see if it springs a leak. I am not a brain surgeon, or a rocket scientist but I would think it would leak immediatly, but im not sure. Any suggestions on how long to leave it filled? thanks john

Completely...24hrs

Very...........48hrs

Fairly..........72hrs

Have to face your wife if it fails...Atleast a week.


I hope you let the silicone cure for atleast 48hrs before filling it...?
