How long till a older IT stabilizes in a new tank?

THIS is my first DAt. IT is about 9 inches long and seems healthy. IT eats very well. IT lurks in the corners very dark. Color blazes when it eats....or swims around.....it squared off with my blood parrot at first but quickly asserted dominance......water is good....

it really varies, some dat never stablize -__- but you have a higher chance as it get even bigger. having other dither fish might help .

Why not use the search function an u will find your answers.

It can take days, weeks, months or years. Especially
With IT's.

However, Some will never turn stable.
