i plan to get one ebjd and i can only house him in a 10 gallon for now. So i was wondering if i can keep a ebjd from end of augest to november? if not ill just wait till i gett 40g breeder in november and get him.

It might be tight but I think you can pull it off. EBJD grow really slow. And 3 months isn't really that long. If you get it at like an inch IMO it would be fine until nov. Just make sure you filter it really good and do water changes.

i have a aquaclear 30 i think it working great. Well i know a jd and a ebjd cant fit in a 40 breeder right?just one ebjd probably right?
Well they would certainly "fit" in the 40 but the JD will probley kill the EBJD, EBJDs are pretty fragile especially when they are young. Just make sure when it is in the 10 you do atleast weekly waterchanges.
NO WAY! EBJD will be killed. It was supposed to be taken as a joke when he said you can certainly fit them both in there. You could "fit" a 20" pacu in there it just won't live. Regular JD are pretty mean. EBJD wouldl be best alone in the 40.

well im just goin to try it one jd and one ebjd they shouldnt kill eachother . hopefully lol. can u guys tell me any info on tank setup do i need sand or gravel? heavily planted? Wht type of hiding places is best?
