I just set up my 180 and my sump and i was wondering how long should i cycle it? Also if i should add some mollies or something

definately add something in there. i haven't cycled anything that big before but i would imagine a month month and a half. completely cycled? or just to where you can add big fish? what do you want to keep in there?

yeah any cycler would get eaten pretty quick i'd do more of them but keep them smaller so they'll be sure to be eaten. you could always just throw a dozen rosies in there.
your fish sound pretty hardy so let it cycle for about a month or so and it should be good. any plant? they'll help.

no i'm done with planted tanks.. my 12gallon is hard enough

Sorry I thought you were gonnna put LArge Fish in there and figured that eventually they would eat the Golds from 3-5"
