Big thanks to 00kevin 00kevin for coming by and resealing my 300. Tuesday will make it a week since we resealed it. I was originally planning on starting to fill the tank Tuesday but now am having second thoughts. From what I am reading I should maybe wait two weeks? I know temp and humidity play a factor. The fish room is about 80 degrees and 70% humidity. When can i fill this tank?
Thank you

Does the aquarium still smell like vinegar? If vinegar smell is gone that's usually a good sign the Silicone has cured. If possible run a finger along the seal for soft spots.

Thank you. No smell anymore (thankfully!)

I would wait 2 weeks at minimum, maybe 3 weeks just to be sure. Silicone cures faster with higher humidity.
With big tanks and thick glass, I would follow rocksors guidance of 2 weeks minimum, better 3 weeks. The silicone deep in the seams may still be curing at 1 week and the sniff test may not indicate that.

Edit: I realize now this is a reseal, not a rebuild. I would still wait two weeks.

giving it two weeks
