How long to let a pecking order set up.

I just added a 4" Hoplarchus Psittacus to my 5' 100 gal. Well my severum also 4" HATES the new guy. No nipped fins they lip locked once.

They have only been together since 1:00pm today. how long should I let this game of chase go on? This is not like my Severum normaly she is laid back and nice. But she is being a big time B**** right now. I think once the Parrot stand up for him self and does not run they will be ok.

THe parrot is not that stressed she did eat some for me.

SO how long should I let this go on?

Oh yeah I did move stuff around in the tank. But It was not that big of a change I guess should I move things aroud more make it look very differant this time?

i would give the parrot a couple of days. if no injuries are occuring then i would let them settle it.

Thanks. Yes no one is getting hurt I think the severum is being a little better and the parrot is starting to hold her own better. Things are still not perfect yet.
