How long will a tank last before considering resealing?

Hello, I just finished reading a post on resealed tanks and now I'm wondering if I need to consider resealing. Tank is not leaking ATM. It's 2 100gallons that we've had set up as saltwater at my restaurant. It's been set up since 1986 and survived big earthquakes. I'm worried now lol.

I've had my 150 set up since 1987, I have no intention of resealing unless it starts to leak.

look at the silicone. does it feel hard and unflexable? is it pulling away from the glass? can you see any algae between the glass and silicone?
if not you should be fine.
otherwise....

Thanks gill, I feel much better. It's still flexible and no algae between glass.
