How long will each of these fish last in a 75?

I planning a new project fish. I wanna start with 1.5 -2 inch growouts to establish a true pair. Growout tank will be my current 75 and will upgrade to a 240 as I've finally saved enough money for one.

My ideas
Umbees from rapps ( seen some adults from his pair and they are sweet)
Dovii
Beani
Islanthum

Should probly state that my opinion would be

Dovii and umbee- 1-2 years
Beani- 2years
Islathum- life

Aquamonster I thought you said a while ago you wanted to leave the hobby?

Istlanum in the 75 for life, then your 240 can be open to something different :)

I had almost all my fish sold then my wife told me the hobby meant too much to me and would hate to see me give it up.

Yea I need atleast a couple years as we are still saving for a house. We have a sizeable downpayment but the wife lost her job so the house is on hold right now while she looks for a new job

Then go with the umbee or dovii that way it gives you enough time.

My experience with dovii has been slow growth. I have a hybrid dovii and he's 3-4 inches and I've had him for over a year. I got him when he a 1/2 inch from a friend with 8 others and this guy killed the others.

In that sense you might have more time then a year being they could be kept in the 75 to at least a foot or close to it
