So the last 6 monthes and more have been fun, everytime my husband and I decided on something for the gars new tank it ends up falling threw for one reason or another. So.. knock on wood.. the LFS we visit regulalry is running a special on 220's this month... the tank will cost us what building an indoor 6'x6' pond would... So... do I get the pre-drilled and sacrifice some turn room.. or get the undrilled and deal with attaching tubes ect to the back? the price differnece is about 100$ but still going ot be cheaper then the DIY.. I really like the idea of the pre-drilled to keep the heaters ect in the sump w/ plenty of bio-space. But I'm just not convinced it's worth the sacrifice of space in the tank. and I've heard horror stories of HoB overflow boxes. I know long-term this won't be the cubans final tank.. But it should buy us a few more years to get a 300 or 500 we eventually want. I'm thinking maybe 3? and the 6'x6' indoor pond has more or less be nixed by my parents whom we currently live with.. but the 220 is okay? I don't ask...
