I got a inch red wolf from a owner that told me he eat eats shrimp and cichlid pellet. I tryed feeding him both of those items in a 10 gallon tank but he just simply ignores it. If you ask why I keep my wolf in a puny 10 gallon, it is becaue my 4 inch polypterus keep attacking him in a 30 gallon tank. How can my fish learn to eat "dead" food again??? I don't want to start feeding him live food to increase the wolfs aggresissin.

Thanks

If he's new, he's still probably stressed from the move and just starting to get used to his new home. Give it time.

A 6 inch Red wolf stressed and beat up by Bichirs in a 10gal tank that's been cycling for 2 weeks and won't eat - Yup sounds about normal, 3 or 5 more posts won't change it.

Its been in the 10 gal tank for less than 2 weeks. The bichir didn't harm the wolf, I stop their attacks. My wolf got its revenge since one of his attackers just recently died from disease. Check my my polypterus post.
Anyways I think my wolf ate a bit of shrimp yesterday night since the shrimp was gone in the morning. The shrimp couldn't of gotten sucked in the filter since it has a small openning!!!

So you're leaving a big piece of shrimp in a 10 gallon tank over night?!

:nilly:

Just give it time and let it be...
