How long will these fish last in these tanks????

I have 2 firemouths in a 20 gallon high but will be put in a 20 gallon long. They are only about 3/4 of an inch right now. How long will they last in the 20?

I also have a jade goby, palmas bichir, and ck. I'll probly sell the ck when it gets too bigger. That being said i was going to replace it with a jd thats about an inch long. So how long will he last in a 20 gallon?
 
The fms should be ok, the goby and palmas need around 40 gallons.
 
Your tank set-up reminds me of CICHLID34. It's very familiar actually. I'll tell you like I told him, that's too many fish in such a small tank. It will work on a very short-term basis if they are very small. You need a much bigger tank if you intend on keeping them all. This is pretty weird though. You even have the same typos and writing style as CICHLID34. He's from NY too!
 
Friend of mine. He gave me his other jade goby. I just bought his 150 because he dicided he was gonna stay small tank wise and he also sold his 125 to my future cousin in law. He just put his jade goby in a 75 with a new ornate bichir. Those are the only 2 fish he has now. I would love to have his bichir but dont want to spend the money on one. As for me I have all this fish in their because tghey arent too big. Depending on my cyling they will be going in my 55 next week or so. When i got the ck i didnt realize how big they got because back in the 80's my dad had one and he said they only get 18 inches so i thought i would be fine
 
Just wondering. When i get his 150 would my 55 be a good sump tank for it or should i have bigger
