Hi.
I now have a 400l tank (about 100g) and i have some fish in the tank now and i would like to keep them in the future + fish i am going to pick up next saturday. I was wondering if that will fit in the future in a 400L juwel tank.

400L
1 Oscar Lutino 15 cm
1 Paroon Shark 15 cm
1 Geophagus Brasiliensis 15 cm
1 Sajica male 12 cm
1 Tilapia Buttikoferi 15 cm
1 Polypterus Senegalus 18 cm
4 Gold spot pleco 10 cm
1 Red Tail Catfish

I am getting these next Saturday

1 Red Devil 16 cm
1 Flowerhorn 8 cm

and i have a chance of getting a breeding Midas pair (20-25cm) i was thinking if i could have them in the tank til summer and then i would get a special tank for them. Could they be in the tank til summer?

I could move some in a 32 g (128L) wich should i move to that tank or should they be alright in a 400L?

Dont think of the RTC i know he grows huge so dont comment on that.

Most of the cichlids should be okay for a while, as they reach maximum size that tank will be getting mighty crowded. Obviously you know about the RTC but also the Paroon shark will get WAY too big for the tank as well. Keep in mind with the RTC it could outgrow the tank within a month or two!

I think that you're fine for maybe 3 months, but the rtc will eat the smaller cichlids as it grows. Don't get the midas pair and don't pick up the fish on Saturday. Wait until you have the larger tank.

the butti is way to aggressive probably but if he was smaller then all the other cichlids way smaller then it might work and hold off on getting the other fish

I know about the paroon.
The RTC is not fed that much so he wont outgrow on 2 months:)
The Butti is a little aggressive but i think the RD will be a mouthfill for him:eek:
I am gonna pick the RD and FH up but i can but them in a 32g with small parachanna obscuba and maybe but the Midas pair in the 100g.
Should i do thet or not take the pair (i really want it). Maybe my mom will let me build the tank for the pair(420L) in May:D
I just have to talk to her when she is in a good mood;)

A red devil pair will not work in a 32 gallon. I think they might kill eachother. What are the dimensions of the tank?

No its not a RD pair its a Midas pair, a single RD and a single FH.

Rd & Fh will take out the rest of the fish,That is if You leave The Midas pair out they are already too big to co-exsit with your other fish, they would make short work of them.Find a home for the RTC they get too large for most home aquaruims

Please dont talk about the RTC on this thread
