How long would this tank size work?

Hi,
How long would a 72" L x 42" W x 20" H tank last for 1 male motoro. He would be the only one in the tank.

Also is the width the driver in this case or the length or both?

Depends on the Ray, a male may be able to live in there for life as long as you have good filtration and a good water change regime.

X2 hell, even a female i'd say would live in there for a few years atleast, 42" wide is nice a wide, but dont short urself on how much water that is... ur bout 260gals of water, soo reall gallons and tank width and length are the main things. dont shave to much off the gallons to have a really wide tank, but that tank would be a real nice one i think! get it! or tell me where i can pick it up and i will...!

I have a 72L x 24W x 18H with a single male retic. Just thinking about upgrades and wondering. Also size was dictated by the weird access I have for getting a tank to its locaion.

Get the tank made in it's location much more simple than stressing yourself about moving it or getting throw doors

thats a perfect ray tank. add a nice sized sump and you have a lifer for alot of types of rays.
