How long does it take for the bacteria to grow on the media? I have to thing's of media in with some established media. (I have the bio-wheel filters) would like to get a jump start on the establishing process before setting up my next tank. Thank's all.

I would suggest putting the new filters/media in place... Then doing thorough maintenace on the tank which will likely remove a portion of the established bacteria. This will make the remaining bacteria reproduce and some of the new bacteria that is produced will likely grow on the new bacteria...
