with most new world species, you can leave the fry with the parents for around 4-6 weeks. around that time the parents will probably be ready to spawn again and may start eating the older fry to prepare for new fry. this is pretty generalized though and as the others have said we can give you a lot more specific information if you can provide us with some details of the fish you have and their setup.
