how long?

ive heard that dats grow extremely slow so i was wondering how long one could stay in a 40gal with 1 senagal bichir and 1 african brown knifefish if i could find one 1in. long? dimmensions are 36" by 16" by 15". thanks in advance.

Not long cause the bichir would quickly outgrow it and eat it!!

I was thinkin the same thing... now a 40G with no other tankmates is a different story, if u got a Dat at 1 inch in a 40g alone, he would be fine for a year aleast.
