I noticed he had two barbs when I went to feed today. I am just wondering if he's close so that I know when to dig through the sand to look for it
I'm assuming that he's pretty close to shedding the top one.

It's no big deal Kid You will see the velvet start going away toward the base it will begin to come loose and fall off the rays usually push them to the side ...If you don't have a pair of reach pinchers buy a set ....
