How long does it take for peacock bass to reach 24"? I dont see a lot of people that have many that big. I know they grow an inch a month, but i head they slow down after they get a decent size and start growing girth. Ive only seen one posted onhere that was 30".

Depends on the type but temensis will hit that mark the quickest. Orino's and kelberi the slowest

I know tems get the biggest but no one ive seen on here has a 30" one, or maybe just one person but everyone says they get as big as there size in the amazon. How long will it take for a tem to hit 24"?

temensis should get to about 24" in 2 years or less with lots of food,good water and space.

Yes in a tank that size with proper care you should definitely see that size within that time period. 4 feet wide would work for life. That tank could work but you may find that you want something longer than 6 feet. But if thats as large as you can or want to go it would still be better than what many keep tems housed in.
