Hi, I was wondering how long I could keep this male bifa in this tank. It is a 2 ft cube holding around 40 -45 gallon and I was personally thinking I could maybe squeeze another inch or so out of him. He's around 8 inch ATM.

Really not a good footprint for cichlids, they could care less about height and need the swimming room. I would get him at least a 75 or 125 asap, just my .02
Yeah I had him in a 100 gallon but the zon in there didn't like him and gave him a hard time so I had to whip him out and the cube was my only option just now. I'll have to get him a 100g shortly then.
