How low do you keep your water levels?

I was wondering, most vids I see on youtube the aros have low water levels in the tank. I plan on filling mine right up.... I have glass coverings with books ontop. Was just wondering how low you guys keep your water? Pics if posible would be nice too. Sorry I dont have any Im picking up my two 12" silvers today in an hour. Both going into a 180.

Everytime i top off my tank, my aro seems to freak out more and spazz out when it gets scared. They injured themselves.

Now that i lowered my water, its nice n calm

Well, they are in the tank. Swimming at all levels... The lights are off for a day so they can get used to it. So do they like high or low current ?

The tank my aro is in has alot of current, he doesnt seen to mind
