How manny senegalus together?

I have heard that these guys don't like eachother. but can 3 live peacefully together in a bigger tank like a 125-gallon or a 180-gallon????

Your source is wrong, they actually get along fine in numbers, even if it's only a couple.

A tank that size is plety big for a few polys. I've got 22 I think (various species), in my 180g. I stopped counting at 16.

Very true. I've seen setups with multiple ornates, and yet my pair hate each other.

Right now, they seem to have a delicate cease-fire founded on the stipulation that the female, and only the female can perch on the big piece of drift wood, while the male must belly crawl along the communal sand bed.

After devoting a few hours to fish observation, their politics and society really shine through

You could keep easily at least 10 senegals in a 125 or 180.

yeahsome people sware polys will fight but they seem to do just fine togeather
