Hey Gang.

I'am new around here but ive kept fish's as an hobbie for many years
( ex south american cichlid keeper ) moved on to smaller-ish and nicer
things :) anyways carrying on. I currently have 9 africans in my 125 gallon
running a rena xp4 and xp2 ( Maybe too much filtration.. but the more the merrier i hear ). Anyways how many could i REALISTICALLY put in the 125 without stressing.. out the whole tank.

Thanks in advance your feedback is much appreciated.

+ 1... Thats plenty of room, get some nice rock work and you your self a nice looking tank... Keep us posted

I have the same thing and I have cichlids from 3''-6'' in there right around 50 of em and they are doing great.

i have 2 sunshines, taiwan reef, electric blue, acei, red empress,2 ob peacock, eureka red, mainly peacocks aside from the acei i guess. they're all like 1-2 inches right now gonna grow them all up together at the moment im also on the hunt for Ruby reds, sunburst and bi colour's and the flametail peacock everyone needs a flametail in their tanks for sure. so its mainly gonna be a peacock/hap kinda tank.
