I couldnt bring the cinderblocks that came with the tank home due to lack of space, but i brought the big thick peice of plywood. I want to get this tank up asap and i need to know how many cinderblocks to get. I want to have space underneath for the 55 gallon sump and wetdry etc.

So how many?

Any good links to plans out there(couldnt find any)?

Thx

How high do you want it? What are it's dimensions?

its 84 inches by 24 inches by 30 inches(L*W*H). I need the stand to be at least 25 inches, preferable 30 inches high.

any input getting these tommorow. thx

I have my 210 (7 x 2 x2) on 24 blocks

(12 on each end) each level is 3 blocks stagared orientation

with 2x10(2) and a 2x8(inbetween the 10's) as the wood ontop of the blocks and that puts the "stand" at aprox 30 inches

it also leaves aprox 53 inch open length span for another tank (sump in my case)

i have had it set up this way for over 2 years and the lfs that i bought it from had it set up that way for more than 6 years that i personaly seen with my own eyes

you will have aprox 2 inches between the front bricks and the back bricks on each layer but if you stagger them(flip the lay out 180 degrese you wont have any problems... each layer/level has 2 bricks facing one way and the 3rd brick 9o degreese... works great and good luck
