Hey everybody, my fank is almost cycled (month into it)... So slowly trying to put together a stock list. I was thinking of trying to get some fish for every level (top/middle/bottom). However i dont know how many will be fine in a 4 foot by 15-18 by 25 inches. This makes it a 72 gallon tank with a 33 gallon sump total 90 gallons.

I was thinking some cory cats, dojo loaches and some kind of different catfish. However I dont think different bottom dwerllers will coexist.

Thanks for any inputs also any online sites where they have a variety of cory cats for sale?

I'd say 10-20 of the little guys depending on the species as some get rather large for corys. Also dependant on your filtration. If it is new filtration you may want to add just a few at a time to let the filtration adjust to the new bioload. Like every 2-4 weeks add in a few more. This is just my opinion. I have not kept large amounts of cories before but sounds really cool. I say post up some pics. Even though not willing to do it myself just yet I always thought it would be awesome to see someone dedicate like a 1000 gal aquarium to corys and put a few of every species available in there. :) Make sure to take into consideration the other fish that will be in the tank as well. if you have fish on every level you may not want to stock the corys in as high of numbers as I have suggested.

it is just luck of the draw on co-existing... some do some don't...
as always liveaquaria.com has a decent selection as i'm sure some vendors on here may sell some...
aquabid.com although very sketchy there is a guy on there that has some rarer species that are nice looking....
but if you're going to do cories...just get 6 or more...proper schooling rules like every other community fish..

Thanks filteration should be strong enough to handle a fully stock tank the first say (apparently) the water has been able to bring 5.mpp pf ammonia down to 0 in less the 10 hours. So far nitrites are finishing up.

Thanks maybe bottom level of just cories sound interesting...i do have two plecos in a 50 but thier big and they produce lots of crap...so idk
