In balancing good bargains with high-quality ingredients, I've ended up with quite the assortment. Omega One, Massivore, HBH cichlid, Cichlid Attack, HBH algae wafers, Hikari floating sticks (with the arowana on it, bought it before I knew about ingredients) and more.

I picked 4-6. NLS, Omega One Kelp Pellets, Tetra Color Crumbles, Kens Color Flakes, Kens Veggie Flakes, Kens Soft and Moist Krill Pellets. I think varying their diet keeps them interested in different foods. I have never had any problems with my fish accepting food. On top of those, I throw in frozen krill and bloodworms, freeze dried krill and mealworms, live earthworms, and romain lettuce.

I've got my goldfish on Omega One pellets, and my senegal bichir has been on Hikari Sinking Carnivore for several years (refuses to touch anything else). He's fat and happy.

um, one! i only use one type of pellet but use other food too. i have mollies, gourami, cory's and cherry barbs. i use flake food twice daily, catfish pellets twice daily, garden peas every other day and frozen bloodworms/tubifex/daphnia/brineshrimp twice weekly

I gotta pick up some sinking carnivore for the babies.....

Honestly, at any given time I have between 15 and 20 choices. And that doesn't include the fresh veggies and frozen foods.

There is some over lap between tanks, but most tanks have 7-8 different foods to rotate through.

With regards to pellets I use 5 in total until the garli/paprika bits run out then it will be 4. They are:

NLS Cichlasoma 3mm
Spirulina sticks/pellets
Earthworm sticks/pellets
Garlic/paprika bits
NLS algae wafers (not a pellet but all my fish eat it so I included it)
