How many discus

How many discus could i house in a 50gal(48''x12''x21''). Thanks for any help

Depends on your filtration and how often you do water changes, but I would guess 3-5 comfortably.

I think he means you should start with at least 4 discus because they like the company of each other, and if you decide start with adults do not put more than 6 in the tank. Does that make sense?

That's what I meant, I just can't word it in a good way, that makes sense to normal people.

you could fit 4-5 maybe even 6 depending on how big they are

if there are 4 or less the likelihood of one becoming the runt is high.
