how many do i need

currently i have one clown loach just recently bought for my cichlid tank and hes super active and not at all shy would you recommend 2 or 3?

Yes they do good in groups.

The more the merrier!! I’ve got a group of 7!
You don’t need that many but I really like them and I keep buying them every time they’re for sale in my area. Almost bought two more today!

i really like the one i got, ive never had one before but how active he is makes him grow on me

I’ve got one out of the group that likes to come out in the open. The rest just hide behind the driftwood most of the time. There aren’t any dither fish though and they share a tank with a pink tail chalceus.

i just introduced mine to my juvenile cichlid tank hes about 3.5 inches and is full of life no hiding yet

I would definitely get more. Also, they love airstones/ swim in the bubbles.
