If it's a male...none. If it's a female...still probably none. edit* answering the tankmates question, not how many could go into a 180.
you can put a heater and a filter inlet and outlet and not much else. a piece of driftwood and some flower pots might work as well.
doviis are big, aggressive and will not tolerate much else inside the tank.

whilst small you may get away with a pair of dovii, but much past 8" the male will probably kill the female and any other tank mates. An adult male is an impressive site and will make the female look tiny in comparison.
I have always wanted to set up a huge tank with plenty of rocks and cover and introduce say 20 convicts male and female. let them breed for a year. the introduce a pair of 5-6 inch dovvi and see if they would coexist.. yeah i can dream and have no space left for another tank.

I'll give you a hint: the number of dovii you can keep in a 180 is between 0 and 2. Popular tankmates (if temporary) include: goldfish, common guppies, and baby convicts.
