how many EBJD's in a 55??

Just called my homeboy at the lfs and they got some ebjd in. He said they were 2-3 inches,40 each.
Is this a good price for them?? How many can i keep in a 55?

Thats a good price, and I would only get one and make is a species tank with actinic lighting if I were you.

can i put 1 in my 220. it has a silver aro, 2 retic rays 4 clown loaches and a jag about 2 and 1/2 inches

I would say two in a 55....they say the get as big as regular JD's but after 5 inches the grow very slowly so the would be fine in there for quite some time.......as for in your 220 I wouldn't suggest it .........It's tankmates would be ok except for the jag which i can see beating up the EBJD......also they will all grow faster then it ..........

I can see it getting beat up in the 210. The reason why I said was one because it is a relatively small tank, you don't want any agression, and one would just look cooler IMO

I would get two and that would be 80+ tax and I would round it out to an even $100 by getting some sort of dithers for it because IME jack dempsy are some of the worst spazz-outs ive seen,jumping at anything that moves close to the tank,definately not great for high traffic areas of the house IMO.
