How many Exodons in a 46 gallon?

traditionally, i would say no more then 30 or so in a 46g without requiring extra filtration and maintenance.
however if you are willing to provide them with frequent WC, water parameter tests ( and adjustments accordingly), and additional filtration, you can easily double that.
