For you guys with groups of females, how many females does it seem like a single male can handle and breed with successfully? My male is currently chasing and interested in all three of my girls but was not sure if he would be able to get the job done with all three or not.

Good question. I'm wondering the same thing. I have the same 1M and 3F, they are still a while off maturing though.

U need a working male too..
I would give a Ratio of 1 male to 2 females.. (Thats what I am doing now..)
But I agree with sonny that it depends on Tank footprint..

Tank footprint is 96" x 42".

All four of these rays are currently together and the male is actively chasing all three. He is quite large and a proven breeder, fathering many pups over the years so time will tell!

Depends on the male too. Sometimes they will pair up in a single male tank. Sometimes u will get lucky and he will be a horn ball and knock up multiple ladies

I had pups born here from 2 different moms less then 2 weeks apart. Your male was the only male in the tank. Maybe the # of mates is limited by his number of claspers, maybe he's a "really free spirit", but one thing I'd count on is he's not gonna pair up and be faithfull.

Is there anything for rays to increase the sperms count? Like foods, or rays Viagra.
