The picture you saw was actually a few months old. The new one attached here is from yesterday. All the adult fish that were in the tank before are still there, but a lot of baby ?XXXXXX? [can you identify them?] were added on a very temporary basis, as another tank developed a leak and had to be emptied in a rush.
The little ones will be leaving as very soon as I can, or a few days.
The adult fish in the previous photo were (only those 12 visible):
8 silver dollars, all Metynnis, 3 different species.
Two Brochis giant green corys,
one stripped cory,
one neon,
one female guppy.
[There was no ciclid, or anything else behind the wood. That is another silver dollar showing a lot of red on its chest!]
What are the little ones swimming in the upper part of the tank? I know what they are; can you tell or guess? Family?, genus? I don't think anybody can guess the species since thety are too young.
Hint- not South American.
Cheers!
